America Sweet Gum

$95.00

The American sweetgum (Liquidambar styraciflua) is a large, deciduous shade tree native to the warm temperate regions of eastern North America. Known for its symmetrical, pyramidal shape when young, it matures into a stately canopy tree reaching heights of 60 to 100 feet. It belongs to the family Altingiaceae and is highly prized for its brilliant ornamental qualities, though its unique seed pods make it a topic of debate among homeowners.
