Latan Palms (Latania spp.) are slow-growing, single-trunked, 20–40 ft. tall, fan-leafed palms perfect for, but often limited to, tropical, sun-loving, and salt-tolerant landscapes. They feature large (up to 8 ft.), stiff leaves, with three main species (red, blue, yellow) distinguished by juvenile petiole color. They are ideal as specimen trees, thrive in USDA Zones 10-12, and require well-drained soil, regular water, and high light.
