Pineland Lantana (Lantana depressa var. depressa) is an endangered, low-growing Florida native shrub (1–2 ft tall, 2–4 ft wide) with solid yellow, non-changing flowers. It is ideal for butterfly gardens, thriving in full sun, sandy/rocky soils, and is highly drought-tolerant once established. Found mainly in Miami-Dade County's pine rocklands, it is a crucial, non-invasive alternative to the common invasive Lantana camara.
