Ferti-Lome Horticultural Perlite (8 dry quarts) is a sterile, neutral pH, lightweight volcanic mineral. It acts as a soil amendment to increase aeration and improve drainage in potting mixes, seed-starting media, and hydroponic systems. By preventing soil compaction and waterlogging, it helps maintain healthy root systems and reduces the risk of root rot. It can also be used alone for rooting cuttings.
