Dipladenia is a heat-loving,, tropical, mound-forming shrub with shiny leaves and red, pink, or white trumpet-shaped flowers, often used in containers or hanging baskets. It thrives in full sun (6–8 hours) and well-drained soil, blooming from late spring through autumn. While closely related to Mandevilla, it is more shrub-like with a 2–3 foot height.
