Fakahatchee grass (Tripsacum dactyloides) is a, hardy, Florida-native clumping perennial that grows 4–6 feet tall and wide, ideal for wet areas, borders, or accenting with its bright green, arching foliage and late-spring maroon flowers. It thrives in full sun to partial shade, tolerates wet to moist soils, and is highly adaptable, salt-tolerant, and drought-resistant once established.
