The Choquette avocado is a popular, high-yielding Florida cultivar (hybrid of Guatemalan and West Indian types) known for producing large (20–40 oz), glossy green fruit with a thick skin and creamy, high-quality flesh. These vigorous, disease-resistant trees thrive in full sun and are hardy to approx. 25F – 35F. They are Type A, bearing fruit from late fall through winter (Nov-Feb).
