Deer Candy and 'Prok' are highly prized, grafted, female American persimmon (Diospyros virginiana) cultivars renowned for attracting wildlife and producing large, sweet, early-dropping fruit. Hardy in USDA zones 5-9 (some up to 4-8), they grow 30–50+ feet tall, bearing fruit in 2–3 years. They are self-pollinating, drought-tolerant, and drop fruit from late August through October.
